I did it :)

I actually made something for myself, nothing big, but crikey it feels so good.

I made myself a gardening hat, and totally love it. It's a perfect fit too :)

I managed to make a few errors along the way, but it is the first time I have made anything like this. Some of the pattern pieces didn't fit, so I went totally wrong somewhere while cutting out, but was able to tweak things to make them fit.

Other sewing for this weekend included a present for a good friend of mine who had a wee babe last week. He was a couple of weeks early, so I'm a little late in getting this present to them, but that's OK, I'm sure he will love it all the same.

I'm also working on a new Needle Case Design, nearly there, but I feel like I've been having a love affair with my quick unpick hehe

Toodles for now
xx

I agree with everyone else. The fabric is gorgeous and you've done a fantastic job of it. AND those baby gifts are gorgeous, you certainly have an eye for lovely fabric combinations.

I love your hat!! I never thought of making my own hats, but now that I have my own sewing machine the possibilities have opened up before me :-) Cute baby gifts, too x
