My Creative Space - Thurs 8th March 2012

Many moons ago I started a Hexagon Blanket, this has been in the WIP pile for quite some time while I decided what to do with it.

Earlier this year I finally made a decision and got cracking with my new plans.

I'm pretty happy how it's coming together, but my god there's a heap still to do. My girl keeps asking when it will be finished so I had better keep chugging away and hopefully have it finished this winter (more than likely the end of winter knowing my luck).

It's looking good! These things take time - a lot of it. The bit I detest is all the endless weaving in of ends.

It's looking gorgeous so far! I love the look of white bases and lots of coloured inners..it's classicly funky.

Wow it's looking fantastic, so much work goes into these blankets. What a nice project over Winter to warm your lap while you work on it!

Wow that's awesome. I can see why it would take such a long time though

Goodness, that's a huge job, but it looks stunning and it will be worth all the work. Sure your daughter will love it.
