Well we are only a few weeks away from Summer and it's freezing. We were having a beautiful Spring, but we have had an unexpected cold snap, and believe me it's coollldddd.
So some of the ladies I know through Ravelry have been making these. I didn't believe how quick everyone claimed them to be to knit up, until I actually looked at the pattern. These are seriously easy and super quick. Check out the pattern for yourself, you will see what I mean.
If you did check out the pattern, you will notice I left off a vital part of the pattern LOL. When I had finished the first one, I put it on and wondered about the house to discover that the place where the slipper falls off was the heel, and to be perfectly honest it would have driven me mental, so out came the crochet hook and the yarn (still double stranded) and this is what I did
At the back seam on the heel, I single crochet x 3 centred across the back.
Single crochet for three more rows, then chain x 4, skip one single crochet and join the chain into the third to create a loop.
Finished off all ends, then did a single chain of double stranded yarn for 90cms.
That's it, how easy was that!
