Garden Prep

I am a wee bit ashamed. I had so much planned for Blogtober but when I launced my wee business I did not expect it to take off the way it has. I have been so so busy that I have not had a chance to make or craft anything else except for items to sell. I haven't blogged any where near as much as I would have liked, or shown any of the fab crafty projects I was saving for this month.

I have however done ALOT of work in the garden between sewing stints.

Cara and I sowed a heap of seeds which was so much fun. Here's some of our lettuces reaching for the sky

We have this fabulous garden centre here in Auckland that have the cheapest plants around, I was trying to grow everything from seed but when you can get a punnet of 6 marigolds for $1 and big herbs for $2 it doesn't really make sense too.

Here is a peek at what my giant bed is starting to look like. It's coming along nicely.

I need to take a pic of the chickens too. Some of them are looking a bit haggared because their feathers are coming in. I think they are the roosters because 3 of the others have feathered up nicely already and the rest are looking ugly.

I promise for crafty goodness will be coming out of this house soon :)
