Fairy Princess Daisy Chain Crown

Phew! That title is a bit of a mouth full LOL

I whipped this crown up for Cara on Saturday night and it has been well worn since. Super quick and super easy.

You can find the pattern here:

I did make a couple of changes though, here's what I did.

Made the flowers then sewed in the ends, I did find these flowers a bit big so have made more with only a chain of 8
Added the yellow as a french knot in the centre and then made a wee loop in the back (for attaching to chain later)then sewed in the ends
Chained 40 then started adding the flowers by chaining through the loop as I went. I chained 10 between each flower then chain 40 at the end.
Added bells to the ends.

The pattern requires that you measure the head etc but I've left it open as one long chain and so far it's been worn as a belt, arm band and crown. Too cute! I've since made one more as a present and am currently working on another two with different coloured flowers. Will update later when these are done.

I think any Fairy Princess would love this, in fact when I first put it on Cara she ran to the mirror to have a look, stripped off her shorts and T Shirt and put this dress on :)

Adorable! Thanks for sharing the pattern too. I bought one of these for a friend last year made from tapestry yarn. It was a handmade necklace sold locally. I think these are fantastic, and I love the changes you made to it, making it a crown, with thicker yarn, with BELLS ON! So darned cute. Lucky girl!
