It is so so perfect.
The piece of art I chose can be found here. Its at the bottom left hand corner, number 131.
My yarn fairy took inspiration from the lady in the water, the colours, her flowing hair and what she may represent.
The reason I chose this is that we purchased a piece of work very similar to this while in Prague (and Cara was conceived in Prague  ) so it has a very special meaning to us.

My yarn fairy was also naughty and included some beautiful stitch markers. Totally love the colours and beads used in these.
The pattern my fairy chose can be found here these are very very cool.
The recipe is 'Mermaid Salad'
1 (8oz) pouch Sea Pak salad perfect crab
1/3 c chopped celery
1/4 c mayonnaise
1/2 tsp minced onion
White pepper and/or red pepper to taste.
Mix all together, chill and serve with crackers.
So easy.
