Gardening with the wee one - Oct 4

There is something extra special about gardening with little people. It brings me great joy to see my 18 month old daughter enjoying herself in the garden.

During the week I brought Miss C some of her own gardening tools so she doesn't nick mine all the time. I also got her a purple bucket (which I will have to decorate) for her to carry her tools in.

Yesterday she helped me plant some cucumbers, courgettes, gherkin and egg plant. We also planted a giant pumpkin. Our local garden centre runs a competition to see who can grow the biggest. Fingers crossed for ours. I will take regular photos (as long as the plant survives LOL) of Cara and her plant growing together.

Oh! So cute!

My Little Punk is all about the pulling out rather than the planting - Daddy was not amused to find some decapitated zucchini seedlings yesterday.... ;)
