My Creative Space - 15/04/2010

So today is a bit more relaxed than most of my other Thursdays.

I finished my first shawl off this morning and I love it. This was quite an easy knit, once I got one of the stitches sorted (I had major brain fade with it). The pattern is a free Ravelry download called Cherry Surprise. The yarn was hand dyed by Moi :)

Now that the little person is having her afternoon nap I'm going to head on down to the garage to try and find some sterling silver wire, hammer and beads to try and make my own shawl pin. Haven't made anything for years so this will be fun.

Now while this isn't my creativeness, I really wanted to share this with everyone. This was two of favourite people in the whole world on Sunday.

Painting with Daddy

This is my partners 3rd painting, can you believe it is only his 3rd, crazy!

If you want to see what other crafty lovelies have been up too, head on over to Kirsty's. It's worth it, trust me :)

I can't believe how offhandedly you write 'I finished my first shawl off this morning'! Get the fanfare out lady - it's SUPERB!
